Welcome to another edition of Red State Scripts, a resource for U.S. folks living in geographies represented by pro-Trump elected officials but who nevertheless feel inclined to have a bit (or a big) of a holler. These scripts aren’t meant to change any assholes’ minds — though it’d be nice, surely! — but are instead about finding a way to voice opposition, build community, and articulate grievances. Use 5Calls to find your reps, and give them a piece of your mind.
Many things! Just so many things! To start, I want to share two resources that have given me life in the last week-ish:

Everything is terrible. Shit is on fire. They (you know who I mean) are doing whatever they want, regardless of legality or consequences. Project 2025 is in full swing.
Linda McMahon, a professional-wrestling entertainment executive whose other bonafides include being a facilitator of child sex abuse and a longtime Trump crony, was confirmed Monday as Secretary of Education. Her first move? Destroying her own department, as demanded by Trump’s executive order attempting to dismantle the DoE per Project 2025.
This latest fuckery has surfaced following what I previously thought I’d be writing about this week: the profoundly embarrassing shitshow in D.C. wherein Trump lost what little is left of his mind over his and Vice President JD Vance’s belief that Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not enough kissed Trump’s blond, bouffanted ass.
While we’re yelling at our right-wing reps: why not do both?
I am once again jumping on the 5Calls database and using it to holler at my red-state reps. Here’s what I’m saying, cusses and all:
I’m [my name] and I live in zip code [mine].
We’ve got a lot to cover. You won’t like it. But here we both are, so strap in. You must do literally anything you can to stop Trump from obeying the bidding of foreign oligarchs and home-grown Christian extremists. You are uniquely positioned tell the Trump administration directly that you won’t stand for this democracy-threatening nonsense. So DO THAT. Stand up for Ukraine in the face of continued Russian aggression, and against the manipulation of the highest ranks of the American government by Putin and his cronies. Speak out in support of the Department of Education and against Trump’s Project 2025-derived executive order attempting to dismantle it via the confirmation of Linda McMahon, a known facilitator of child predation! You don’t have to aggressively suck on purpose as a weenie enabler! Do literally anything in the face of this unconscionable fuckery, whether you do it for yourself or for constituents like me. Just fucking do it.
